About PSI

The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Susan holds a BS in education. She has been responsible for the success of the company for the past 40 years. Susan is a big reason PSI has become a go-to company for software development, real-time embedded systems, medical device software, software development consulting, and software verification and validation. She oversees operations, strategy, quality, and financing. Susan’s biggest contribution to PSI’s success is the creation of company culture, human resources, and implementing a talent acquisition strategy which places PSI as a leader in the field. Her emphasis on continual improvement and client satisfaction has been the base on which PSI builds to exceed client expectations. Compliance and safety, combined with increasing regulation is of greater concern for our industrial, military, pharmaceutical, and medical device clients’ software projects. Susan has stood out as a leading executive in the software engineering industry and a primary driver of PSI’s growth. Her primary goals are setting the direction for the company, assuring quality for our clients, and creating an overall environment for all employees to grow and perform at a level that continues to create loyal customers. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

The Founder and President of PSI, Walt holds a BS in Technical Management, specializing in software engineering, systems software, embedded systems software, software validation and verification. He has been providing software programming, engineering and consulting services for over 45 years, 40 of them as President of PSI. He has worked on hundreds of mission-critical and safety-critical software development projects. Walter has a long history of working with small to fortune 100 companies in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, energy, manufacturing, semiconductors, communications, process control, and military/government. In those years there have been hundreds of projects that ranged from system software engineering, embedded system software design and development, to project management and finally to software engineering and compliance consulting. As President of PSI, Walter ensures that projects are completed on time and to specification while meeting quality and regulatory requirements such as SIL, FDA or Mil-Spec. He acts as an internal consultant to all project teams and keeps his hands in the daily engineering work. In addition, Walter shares his significant experience as an active member of the business community with ties to many engineering and industry groups, having also been a guest lecturer at local universities. These include serving as an Advisor to the Biomedical Engineering Department at West Chester University, Advisor to DeVry University as a member of DeVry University’s National Advisory Committee for Engineering Technology, and guest speaking at Drexel University, Arcadia University, and Penn State University, Great Valley. Outside of work, he enjoys fast cars and spending time with his grandchildren.

Chief Technology Officer responsible for researching new technologies, providing technical guidance, project management, IT support, and software engineering. He has a BS in Computer Engineering Technology from DeVry University. Mr. Scott’s Ability to create dynamic systems to meet or exceed the client’s requirements paired with strong leadership qualities has made him a key member of the PSI staff. Outside of work he enjoys sports, outdoors, and hunting.

As PSI’s Chief Software Architect, Dave is responsible for devising complex software designs and architectures for mission- and safety-critical systems. Dave has a deep background in software engineering and can distill real-world problems into basic elements and create conceptual models and structures for projects. Dave has a BS in Computer Engineering Technology from DeVry University. Outside of work he enjoys playing music, hiking, camping, and the sport of curling.

As VP of Software Engineering, Tim manages PSI’s engineering group. Tim is responsible for ensuring projects are successfully delivered, client objectives are being met, and resources are properly allocated. Tim strives for continual process improvement and efficiencies and prioritizes the training and development of PSI’s engineers. Tim has spearheaded the creation and growth of PSI’s cloud development team and is a certified Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect. Tim holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Elizabethtown College.

As VP of Operations, Casandra is responsible for driving company strategy and continually improving day-to-day operations. Casandra manages PSI’s sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring PSI continues to strengthen client relationships and further build a recognizable brand as a leader in high-reliability software engineering. Casandra holds a BS in Management & Marketing from Penn State University and an MBA from Delaware Valley University. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dogs – and brainstorming her next home renovation.
