The Founder and President of PSI, Walt holds a BS in Technical Management, specializing in software engineering, systems software, embedded systems software, software validation and verification. He has been providing software programming, engineering and consulting services for over 45 years, 40 of them as President of PSI. He has worked on hundreds of mission-critical and safety-critical software development projects. Walter has a long history of working with small to fortune 100 companies in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, energy, manufacturing, semiconductors, communications, process control, and military/government. In those years there have been hundreds of projects that ranged from system software engineering, embedded system software design and development, to project management and finally to software engineering and compliance consulting. As President of PSI, Walter ensures that projects are completed on time and to specification while meeting quality and regulatory requirements such as SIL, FDA or Mil-Spec. He acts as an internal consultant to all project teams and keeps his hands in the daily engineering work. In addition, Walter shares his significant experience as an active member of the business community with ties to many engineering and industry groups, having also been a guest lecturer at local universities. These include serving as an Advisor to the Biomedical Engineering Department at West Chester University, Advisor to DeVry University as a member of DeVry University's National Advisory Committee for Engineering Technology, and guest speaking at Drexel University, Arcadia University, and Penn State University, Great Valley. Outside of work, he enjoys fast cars and spending time with his grandchildren.
